What are Prism glasses?
Prism glasses are a special type of glasses that have a triangle shape in the lens. They are prescribed by optometrists and added to regular glasses. These lenses can be helpful for people who have problems with their vision, such as seeing double or having trouble seeing things clearly. The prism bends the light, which helps to make the images line up correctly and reduce symptoms like headaches and difficulty reading.
When are prism glasses prescribed?
Prism glasses are prescribed for people who experience severe symptoms of double vision or difficulty seeing with both eyes together. There are some common causes:
